Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement
For Men & Women
At Bentley Medical & Aesthetics we are committed to helping you achieve optimal wellness. Your current hormone levels may be “normal” for someone your age. But if you do not feel healthy and energetic, our goal is to get your hormone levels into the “optimal” range for you.
Achieve optimal levels of natural hormones for improved health and vitality.
As midlife hormone fluctuations become more pronounced, so do unpleasant symptoms that accompany hormone imbalance such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, chronic fatigue, brain fog, decreased libido and unexplained weight gain.
We want you to know that you DO NOT have to live this way. Help is available, and it’s easier than you think! Bentley Medical & Aesthetics specializes in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and have great empathy and understanding for patients who have struggled with symptoms of hormone imbalance.
Our Process
Patient is scheduled to get necessary blood work completed.
Provider reviews lab results in depth, then consultation is scheduled to discuss results, symptoms, and treatment options. These treatment options may include creams, drops, injections, oral capsules, or pellet therapy.
Patient and provider discuss and decide on most effective, personalized treatment plan.
Bioidentical hormones are plant-based, non-synthetic hormones that are identical in structure and function to the hormones your body is no longer producing and offer natural, balanced relief of symptoms. Patients respond well once these hormones are at proper levels and can’t believe how good they now feel!
Men
What is Andropause?
Andropause, or male menopause (“man-opause”) is the name given to the gradual drop in testosterone that typically affects men between the ages of 40 and 55. Low testosterone, also known as hypogonadism, affects an estimated 13 million men in the U.S.
This decline in male hormones is a natural phenomenon; no man can avoid it. Due to lifestyle factors including stress, poor diet, a lack of physical activity and poor sleep habits, more men under the age of 40 are affected by low testosterone levels.
Symptoms of Low Testosterone
When a man’s testosterone levels are low, he may experience the following symptoms:
- Decreased muscle and strength
- Depression
- Declining ability to concentrate
- Lack of energy
- Increased body fat
- Low libido
- Weak erections
Andropause Diagnosis
If you are experiencing symptoms of andropause and are concerned that your testosterone levels are low, the next step is to get your testosterone levels tested.
The test involves a blood draw in our office. For males, we measure testosterone, estrogen and other related hormones. The process is quick — it takes less than 10 minutes — and results are usually available within 24 hours. If you are diagnosed with clinically low testosterone, Bentley Medical & Aesthetics will discuss a course of therapy with you.
Andropause Treatment
At Bentley Medical we use several methods to treat Low Testosterone such as testosterone injections, creams and pellet implants to correct low hormone levels. This therapy is designed to supplement what your body is not producing in sufficient quantities.
You do not have to decline as your testosterone levels decline. There are safe ways to increase your levels. It will make a world of difference in how you feel and perform in almost every facet of your life. Men often report that they notice a difference in the way they feel within the first three weeks of beginning therapy.
Like anything, your levels need to be monitored by a Provider who cares and knows how to treat hormone deficiency adequately. Follow-up is the key success for our patients at Advanced Medicine.
